About the news feeds available from this weblog
There is a rich variety of feeds available for the content in this weblog - so many feeds that we cannot display links for all of them. For instance, every category can be subscribed to (currently just RSS-1 summary format is availablefor categories). Also, every blog entry or discussion item can be subscribed to individually (again, currently just RSS-1 summaries). Searches can also be subscribed to (RSS summary). There will be more options soon - for example feeds by author. We'll also try to allow the full range of sub-options for every source stream ( how much content in which format; with or without file/podcasting; including discussion or not).
If you prefer email notifications, that option is available to members of the site. Join the site, log-in, and you will see an option to ask for email notifications in the Subscribe sidebar and the Contribute to this weblog sidebar.
We will also write some explanations here about the formats and other choices offered, and about plan for the development of feeds in these weblogs.
